Aragon Dance Company is a Premier Dance Company in Orange County. Teaching both Performance and social dance skills to its dancers.
ADC is rooted in Orange County but has members from all parts of southern California. Our team is an extension of our families. We go out Salsa dancing at least twice a week together to one of our local salsa clubs. We take the time to bond and share outside of our team practices. Friendships are made, which makes everyone try harder to make the team stronger. We work very hard to become better dancers and we all share the same positive attitude towards life as well as working towards our goals.
We have a:
- Training Team (no performance)
- Performance Team (intermediate)
- Competition Team (advanced)
Team auditions are held 3-4 times a year. For upcoming audition dates and more information, contact us at AragonDanceInfo@gmail.com
Time Commitments (Salsa Team)
Performing Teams require a three month commitment plan with 4hrs of weekly practice time for each level of team. Performances are not required to join the team, you are welcome to just come and learn as a member of our Training Team.
Rehearsals locations and time are usually in the evening between 7-11pm (2 hours only) and at a local Orange County location. Check with your director for rehearsal schedule.
For all dancers wanting to perform we will do local shows as well as travel to Salsa and Bachata Congresses. All Performances will be booked ahead of time so as to give enough time for each dancer to plan ahead.
What to Expect from the team
The soul heart of the team is to make your goals a reality. Regardless of how big or small your goals are. Each team member is treated like family and any drama or disrespect will not be tolerated. Expect to learn and have fun, most members continue to stay on the team for several performances.
What to Expect on Audition Day
Auditions are only for people wanting to perform, all levels are welcome! People wanting to join the team for practice and to meet new friends must still show up for orientation.
Dancers arrive stretched and ready to learn.
This is an opportunity for the dancers to warm up and hear the music.
Auditions: Dancers will be separated by level and given a small Choreography to learn.
What I look for is hard working people that are friendly and are here to learn.
