Welcome to the LAi Dance Company website. We are the newest Latin dance company in Orange County. Thank you for taking the time and interest to find out more about our vision and goals for our dance company. LAi means LA image as well as Luis Aragon image. A new dance team dedicated to pushing higher expectations for all the dancers in our team. Our goal is make Latin style evolve with a blend of jazz and ballroom while still keeping its roots. Founded by Luis Aragon in April 2010 LAi has already established its name in the Latin world. Much anticipation is held for there new performance in December of this year. Currently eight couples and many more waiting to join. LAi is waiting to reveal a new way of performing and entertaining to the Latin community. We hope to have all your support in our future events and performances.

Choose Your Music
Bring us some of your favorite music and we’ll help you choose your first dance song and dance style that best suites your personality and wedding style! We also edit the music for just the perfect amount of time that magical moment deserves.

Book a private lesson
Private lessons give you more one on one time with your instructor who will break the dance down in greater detail. Allowing you to enjoy your dance and look woundeful while doing it.

How it works:
Your 1st lesson will be a 30 minute sample lesson for just $20 per person. This will also include a group class and evening dance for you to try.

During your sample private lesson your teacher will give you a tour of the dances you are interested in and recommend a package based on your ability and interests.

Package prices vary depending on your dance goals & couples can share the cost of lesson packages. We have a book full of the many possiblities at the front desk.

Attire for private lessons is casual and you don’t need any special shoes to start.

Private lessons are available seven days a week from 10AM – 10PM. Each private lesson is 45 minutes. In some circumstances I can offer private lessons at odd hours for your convienence.

Group classes for latin dancing are a lot of fun and an inexpensive way to learn some of the most popular dances like Salsa, Bachata, Cha-Cha and much more. In a series of group dancing classes, you will learn some great combinations of steps and the correct hip and body action as well.

We offer a full range of latin dance classes for beginner through advanced dancers. If you have never danced before, the Beginner Latin Dance Classes will teach you some of the basic steps in the most popular latin dances. You will gain confidence and feel comfortable club dancing or dancing at social occasions. Perhaps there is a dance you have always wanted to learn like the Sizzling Salsa. Don’t put it off any longer. Now is the time to take the first steps!

Levels of Instruction
The group classes are divided into levels. Each dance has a syllabus or selection of steps that is taught in each level. Here is what the various levels are called and what they mean:

•BEGINNER Level: No dance experience needed

•INTERMEDIATE Level: Some dance experience recommended. Completion of a Bronze/Beginner Class suggested.

LAi is rooted in Orange County but has members from all parts of southern California. Our team is an extension of our families. We go out Salsa dancing at least twice a week together to one of our local salsa clubs. We take the time to bond and share outside of our team practices. Friendships are made, which makes everyone try harder to make the team stronger. We work very hard to become better dancers and we all share the same positive attitude towards life as well as working towards our goals. No drama and no fights is our number one rule. Drama is the fastest way to negative energy and to hold back the team.
